Hello! I am looking to purchase a countertop oven as I am not able to get a built-in wall oven at this point. I have recently come across convection/microwave combo oven. I have some questions that hopefully some kind folks can answer:

1. Does anyone have any experience with such ovens - Is it a good buy or am I better off sticking to a regular countertop oven?

2. If you recommend the combo oven, have you heard of Panasonic SV30 and Panasonic CD997? Are there better/more reliable brands I should be looking at instead?

3. If it's a standard countertop oven, what do you think of Baby Beiling? Are there other brands I should consider?

I don't have a huge budget to spend on this but I would rather go for something mid-priced that is value for money and with good after-sale service.

In terms of cooking, I mainly do alot of roasting and casseroles but I'm looking forward to trying my hand at baking cakes and cookies too. I guess the microwave function is handy if I want to heat up food but that's about it. For steam purposes, I normally use a wok.

Look forward to any feedback and advice!!

Much appreciated,
